An unstoppable creative force, Rich is also an acclaimed music producer, and film composer. The recipient of eight ASCAP Awards, he has worked with top names in the music industry including Eddie Van Halen and Andy Johns and opened concerts for Alanis Morissette and The Goo Goo Dolls. Rich is a powerful and passionate performer, dedicated to creating original, rock piano with soul. He studied classical piano and violin from the time he was five, graduated from The High School for Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale and moved to New York, studying composition and piano at The Manhattan School of Music and New York University. Currently, he tours extensively throughout Europe and the U.S. and lives in Park City, Utah with his wife, Lisa, and their two sons. It was in Park City that Rich was discovered by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Eddie Van Halen, who brought the husky-voiced talent to his 5150 Studio in Los Angeles. Along with Andy Johns (engineer of Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones fame) they produced what was to become the foundation of Rich's second album, Fatherless Child. His work with Van Halen broke radio in Europe and Rich signed with a Dutch record company. His next two albums produced two TOP 40 hits SO What! and Little Things and resulted in dozens of tours, TV and radio appearances, and concerts including Park Pop in The Hague for over 350,000 people. At the 2002 Winter Olympics Rich opened concerts for Alanis Morisette and The Goo Goo Dolls to audiences of 22,000 on the medals plaza stage. Rich’s fall 2009 tour included 18 shows in Ireland and six shows in The Netherlands. He returned to Park City with a full line-up of performances including an entertainment contract at the world-renowned St. Regis in Deer Valley.
